right-of-w-ay of the Jeffersonville, Madison
& Indianapolis Railroad Company to the
center line of Madison avenue; thence south
with the center line of Madison avenue to
the south line of -the right-of-way of the
Belt Railroad & Stock Yards Company;
thence w-est with said line to the center
line of Meridian street; thence north with

Commencing with the south line of
the right-of-way of the Belt Railroad &
Stock Yards Company at the intersection
w-ith the center line of Madison avenue;

ison avenue to the south corporation line
of the city of Indianapolis; thence west
with the south corporation line of the city
of Indianapolis to the east bank of White
river; thence northeastwardly with the east
bank of White river, and following the m
nnderings of said stream, to the south line
of the right-of-way of the Belt Railroad <&
Stock Yards Company ; thence east with the
south line of the right-of-way of the Belt
Railroad & Stock Yards Company to the
center line of Madison avenue, the place of
beginning, shall constitute the Thirteenth
Precinct of tne Fifteenth Ward.
Sec. 2. All ordinances and parts of or
dinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. The City Clerk Is hereby author
ized and directed to give due notice of the
changes, divisions, consolidations and es
tablishment of location of precincts as in
thiß ordinance provided at least one month
before the ensuing municipal election, by
one publication in two newspapers pub
lished in Marion county, Indiana, represent
ing the two political parties which cast the
highest number of votes in the State at the
last general election, to-wit, the Journal
and the Sentinel, and by posters put up in
four of the most public places in each pre
cinct in this ordinance described and es
tablished. The cost of such publication and
posting shall be certified by said Cle>rk to
the City Comptroller, who is hereby author
ized and directed to draw proper warrants
therefor and charge the same to appropria
tion to the Finance Departments for elec
tions.
Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after its passage.
