We bid all men to pay their taxes to the Cen
er il (iovernment. It is their duty to do so; but
we insist that Western Hepre-entaf i vty in Con

siituents, from paving more than their share.
The war is for the common benf lit. All the
wealth of the country, therefore, should contrib
ute to its expenses. We submit this grievance of
the white men of Michigan to Mr. Zach'.ri.ih
