The reader can lace whatever confidence he may choose in the tatemente and speculations of the writer : The Administration are astonished with the news re lved by the Asia. They hae offieial advibes confirmig he Hereld's report of the bhackng out of Louis Napoleon nthe onle affair. Pierce affect extreme delight; but darey esepects there is something still behind. And so here is. It is covered up in the following adrices re iahed her by the last steamer: A very warlike dispatoh has come to hand from Bs rhanan touching our relation with France, in connection rith the Sandwich Islands, Cnal the Dillon affair at San Franciseo. the St. Domingo intrigues and the Botoe qne on. "Old Bock," in this diepatch, urgesthe moet deel ire measuren-a powerful navy-the immediate annexa Ion of Cubha, at all hazards. No time to be lost. We must defy nrance-England will stand off; and in defyc log ercano we may frighten Spain out of the isand 'tae over faithfnul land of Cuba." le opposes any im mediate action concerning the Sandwich slands. They cli keep. Hae goes for Cuba before any thing el, and to the exclusion of every thing else which may interfere with Cuba. Marcy will resist this programme, and will have to go out. He is too lo-the Kitchen Cabinet aure in the con pirney. They believe that the President's position can be only retrieved by war, or a stong coonter-excitelent on our foreign Iffairs, against the political revulsion at home. If Marcy goes out, the plan of Sonle & Co. is to pat Buchanan in his place. The President's message to Congress will probably tell the whole story. The isue is between the Congreus at Otend anod nr Premier. If the former triumphs we are authorized} to my that we shall have Cuba in less than six months-no matter how. If the more pacifo policy of Marcy is adopted by the Presi dent, it is reported that Souln and Buchanan will resign and return home to agitate the quetion here--andaea remaining to keep the pot boiling on the other side. Soule, t is said, will not return to Madrid through ranee--will not even go to Paris to partake of the ban quet proposed to he given him there; but wil take the nteamer Ban Jaeinto,at Southampton. direct for Spain, the ship having been detained by Mr. Buchanan fore that pnrpose. But, in the mean time, it is feared that the revolutionary aeiliations of Soule in London will result in till more aggravating complications with Franre and Spain. Hence Marcy is gloomy and taciturn. H. eei dently sespect the plot against him--the troubles in embryo-and is sorely perplexed. Pierce will not listen to the recall of Soule, as mattere stand. They have gone too far. Marey will, therefore. be compelled to allow oar filibustering Minister to run to the end of his tether. Sounie and his ire-eating diplomatio associates bhave thus seoured the upper hand over Mauroy and he is powerless. Souls is prctially at the head of our Europ.an affirs ; and it will go hard if we do not obtain ared hot war, or as beautiful a quarrel with France and psain as the Cuban Junta could desire. One thing is almost cer tain-we shall either have a -jolly row" with France and Spain or a revolutionary fuss l the family at Wash ington.
