On the 21et of May (acoording to the affidavits) he obtained $177 worth of goods from Mr. Maitlot, and on the 12th of June, upon representations that he had not yet sold the first lot, obtained another lot amounting to $467 24; making a total swindle of $644 24. On the 12th of June also. he obtained of Cady & Holmes $000 worth of goode, which he transferred to another per son, and.thben took passage on the steamer for Loulosvlle.
