We understand that on Tuesday evening last, Leavenworth was the 6cene of a most disgraceful- row, endmg - in murder, and the complete ascendancy of mob iolerce and lynch law. We have not been able to gather the particulars," but understand that the affray commenced at. a poltical meeting and in a fight between a Free State and Pro-Slavery man. The meet ing broke up, with an immense amount of exasperation on both sides. The next morning, signs were discovered which in dicated beyond all question that a murder had been committed during the night. An individual was suspected of the crime, and seized upon by one; cf the parties which we could not learn a confession of the crime gotten from him, and "determina tion manifested by his captors to bang the accused without regard to law. The ef forts of the f civil authorities to interfere were unavailing.
