Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Parks and Mrs. T. W. Sargent, of Wichita, arrived in Emporia Tuesday afternoon in the Parks auto, and left yesterday morn ing fr Topeka. Brock Pemberton ac companied them to Topeka. The rest of the party will go on to Kansas City today and will ship the motor car from there to New York. Mr. and Mrs. Parks will be joined in Kansas City by Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Murdock, of Wich ita, and together they wiil go east for a two months' tour of New England in the motor.
