Big Fire Loss.
Carroll, la., March 21. A fire
which started in the basement of J.
H. Strohn's department store totally
destroyed that building- and the Ma
sonic temple, causing a loss of $95,000.
The local telephone exchange was
burned and several lawyers and physi
cians lost their office furnishings. In
surance covers about two-thirds of the
loan.
