Stone, who succeeds Mr. Bayne as a member of Congress from Pitts burg, has purchased from T. F. Schneider, the architect, the house 1721 Q 6treet northwest for $16,000. Col. Stone will occupy it as his residence. F. R. Lane has sold to Margaret E. Wilber for $7,200 sub. 211, square 362, and F. C. Clements has bought for a like amount of W. AV. Townsend sub. 201, same square. Each of the lots are 18.75x82.50 feet on Westminister street, between R and S, Niuth and Tenth streets northwest. Thft ---,! of the Perry property, fronting 25 feet on the south side of F street, between Sixth and Seventh streets, from Mary J. Perry to Reginald Fendall, has been recorded. The preamble states the price at $30,000, but the consideration in the deed proper is nominal, as it conveys part of original lot 15, square 456. The deeds have been recorded in which the Butler property on New Jersey avenue andB street, south of the Capitol, has been conveyed to the United States. One of the deeds is from Gen. B. F. Butler, in which the consideration named is $275,000, and the other is from his daughter, Blanche Butler Ames, for a con sideration of $75,000. Charles W. Handy has sold for a nominal consideration to James E. Morgan sub. 60, square 218, 2,250 square feet fronting on Fif teenth street, between I and K. streets north west. The property was purchased from George E. Lemon by Mr. Handy for $13,500, Mr. Lemon having bought the same from Fannie J. Bartlett for $11,975. Pitney Bradford, real estate agent, through Thomas J. Fisher & Co., have sold to Rich ard E. Parks, for William H. White and Sarah E. Stevens, lots 67 and 08, in square 93. The property fronts 50 feet on the west side of Connecticut avenue, between Q and R streets northwest, by an averace depth of 100 feet, and the price paid was $20,000. Messrs. Kennedy it Ficklen, real estate agents, have recently sold some excellent property. The sales include a lot on T street between Fifteenth and Sixteenth streets northwest, for $3,000; house on P street, cor ner of Fifth street, $4,500; house on Wylle street, $3,000; house 1108 H Btreet northeast, $4,600; house and lot on Cleveland avenue, $1,600; house and lot 1110 H street northeast, $4,800. ' One of the largest sales ever made of G-street property has ju6t been completed by Mr. "Wimer, the real estate broker on Thirteenth Btreet. The tract of land disposed of is all of lot 4 and part of lot 5, In squaro 288, which is 1217, 1219, and 1221 G street northwest. The sale was made to Messrs. Woodward &, Lo throp, for Louis Heilbrun and William Hahn, the shoe merchants, and tho price paid was $74,370. Ju6t what these gentlemen will do with the property Is not deiinltely kuown, as they have not as yet made any arrangement regarding its disposal or future Improvement.
