Tho great advantages to be dorived from the uso of the Natiomal Oark

Tho large number of Planters uslnc them in the United States, Cuba,

Tho uso of tho Shhkiiurr very Wgoly augments the quantity of 'ane

It is a great safeguard, making known at once tho presence of any
pieces of iron, stakes from cars, or anything which would bo liable to damage
the mill, and allowing ample timo to remove saino beforn damaging the mill.
Tho Hhrkddkh is very troniy niiulo, and from tho manner ofits opera

which can bo quickly anil economically replaced. Tho Shrkudkr, as its
name indicates, tears the cane into shreds of varying lengths, perfectly open
itig it and allowing tho mill to thoroughly press out tho juices without re
quiring the immenso extra power necessary to grind or crush the whole
cane. Tho Shiikdukk spreads lite shredded cano uniformly and oveuly to
tho mill rolls, and docs away with the necessity of spreading tho bagasse by
hand between tho mills, whero rcgrindiug is in use. No greater amount of
boiler capacity is required to operate thu Sukkmikk than that which wai
sufilcicut for the mill, for the uftovo rontons. Wo furnish full working
drawings for the installation of our Hiirrdukrm, enabling any competent en

In ordering Burbddkrb from us, please send small sketch, showing thr

LUCOL :

The following testimonial
has been received from a pro

manager :
Ho-tonjLC.H. I., May 39, 18SM.
PActrio Hadwam Co. L'd, Honolulu.
OctO1 It-sen.
Yon ask my opinion of Lucol as a Paint
Oil.
I have experimented with Lucol Oil for
outside snd inside work, also on Iron work,
painting my vacuum pan, machinery and
centrifugals, with It and the result has
been most satisfactory. It dries harder,
makes a better finish, goes farther and Is
more satisfactory in every way than lln
reed oil.
Certain paint work which was always
sticky with linseed oil, dried hard when
I.iiool Oil was used.
Yonry truly, Ace. Daiiaa.
Direction for Use.
Uso Lvcot. in every respect in the
same manner as you would liuseed
oil, with tho singlo oxcoption that you
may add fully one-quarter moro Lu

than you would of lin-ced.
In using metallic, Venetian red, the
ochres, and other dry pigments, it is
advisable to mix up tho paint at least
ono day boforo it is to ho tisod, then
add a third moro Lucol. and thu paint
will bo found lo covor well and have
a good gloss.
NEVER USE JAl'ANH.
Whero hard surfaces such as doom,
stops, etc., aro required use litharge
only, never uso Japans.
