PAINT
OIL!
8ave Bait the Amount of Tour Oil
BUI Through Saving in Pigment.
Every painter should use Lucol in
stead ol Linseed Oil, because:
1.
nil.
Lccot Is more cftiraMV than Linseed
2. Lccot. Is more teonomtcal than
Lin-
seed OU.
PROOF THAT LUCOL IS MORE
DURABLE.
Six years of actual uio in exterior
houco painting in California (the
most trying climate for paints), in
the burning heat of the Arizona Des
ert, tho Arctic cold of Alaska, and on
tho Atlantic coast, havo fully anil
practically shown thst Lucol always
outwears Linseed Oil under tho same
conditions. All tho scid works in
Sun Francisco have discarded Lin
seed Oil for Lucol.
ILLUSTRATE TIIIB YOURSELF
Put strong ammonia on Linseed and
Lucol paints. Tho Linseed paints
aro destroyed iu a few minutes; the
Lucol paints arc practically unaffect
ed. PROOF THAT LUCOL IS MORE
ECONOMICAL.
Break up 1 lbs. pasto white lead
in ono pint ol Lucol, and tho same
quantity in ono pint of Linseed Oil.
Spread tho paints on similar dark
surfaces for comparison. The Lucol
paint spreads as far as and covon
much hotter than the Linseed paint.
To get equally good covering with the
Linseed mini you havo to use 2 lbs.
ol whito lead to one pint of Linseed
Oil. This means a raving of lb. ol
pasto lead to each pint of Lucol used,
or 0 lb, to every gallon, equivalent
to your saving moro than half the
first cost of the Lucol.
Lucol is not in competition with
cheap Linseed Oil substitutes.
