By Monday night there will bo
little left of the old office of the
Daily Bulletin Publishing Com
pany, except the heavy presses
which will have to bo taken apart
before they can be moved. The
type, fixtures, cases and presses
were sold at auction to-day, low
prices being the rule. The Cot
trell press, the best newspaper press
in town, was sold to J. B. Atherton
for $025 and the old cylinder press
formerly in use to F. J. Testa for
$110. Tho shafting, pulleys, etc.
went to tho Star for $10, the count
ers and desks realized from fifty
cents to $3.50. W. F. Wilson pur
chased the bound volumes of tho
Daily Bulletin shico 1SS2 for $42.-
50. Walter 1'omroy bought a lot
of books for two bils. Fonts of
type, nearly now, which originally
cost $2.75 to $3.50 went at 25 and
50 cents each. In fact bidders had
things pretty much their own way.
Sale is still goinon as this paper
goes to press.
In tho District Court yesterday
afternoon T. J. King obtained
judgment against Georgo C. Ross,
and J. A. Hassinger as garnishee,
for the sum of $59.95 on a pro
David Butcher obtained judg
ment against J. K. Kaunamano for
$13.10 for work and labor perform
ed. Margaret Campbell et al. recover
ed a judgment against D. W. Ka
huakai on a note at $200 secured
by mortgage. The expenses of fore
closure, fees and commissions ran
the amount of the judgment up to
