Ono thing that has been in
strumental in keening up tho
price of goods in Honolulu is
the combinations among retail
dealers; legitimate enough in
its way but it savors of a Trust
and tho public does not like
Trusts.
As tho proprietor of tho
largest hardware, crockery and
house-furnishing establishment
in the islands we begin busi
ness with tho view to secur
ing your patronage. Wo can
get it in ono way only. Per
sonal friendship is a good thing
to possess but it cuts no ico in
a business transaction; it's tho
dollars that count. Wo aro
going to get your trade on the
basis of dollars and cents.
Having bought our stock
direct from the manufacturers
and at a trifle less than living
prices, we will sell them on tho
samo plan. To start right we
took the prices of our competi
tors on tho same line of goods,
and in most instances cut them
n two somo of them only a
quarter off, none tho samo, the
average is half off what other
dealers , get you to pay for
them. Wo can do this and
mako a good profit, good
enough to let you and ourselves
live and enjoy all the beauties
of this semi-tropical country.
It's hard for you to bolievc
that, but you will bo convinced
of tho fact if you will visit us
on the 17th. Then you will
see the goods with the prices
marked on them in plain
figures and those aro the
prices you may buy them at,
not less, because wo mark them
in tho first instance at just tho
prico we can afford to sell
thorn at.
Remember tho 17th.

value of Kough-On-Bugs is,
3rou can sprinkle it in the cre
vices, where their nests are,
and thus destroy the eggs and
break up their breeding places.
Full directions with each bot

what wo claim, we refund
