GREETING:
Whereas It appears from the libel and
complaint of Theo. H. D.ivles and Com
pany Limited, filed In the Circuit Court
of the First Circuit, Republic of Hawaii,
sitting in Admiralty against the steam
ship "City of Columbia," now at the
nort of Honolulu. Island of Oahu, said
Republic, whereof one W. S. Mllnor is, or
was lately master, her boilers, engines,
machinery, boats, tackle, apparel, furniture,
etc. In a cause of bottomry civil and marl-'
time, that said Theo. H. Davlesand Com
pany Limited have a claim against said
steamship upon a bottomry bond given to
secure the sum of S5.686.76 which Is due
and owing to said Theo. H. D.ivles and
Company Limited; and
Whereas, the Honorable A. Perry, First
Judge of the Circuit Court aforesaid, lias
authorized process of attachment to Issue
as prayed for in said libel and complaint of
said Llbellant.
Now, Therefore, You are commanded to
attach said Steamship "City of Columbia,"
her boilers, engines, machinery, boats,
tackle, apparel and furniture, forthwith
and to detain the same In your custody
until the further order of this Court res
pecting the same as provided by law, and
you are further ordered to monlsh and cite
peremptorily and personally the said
Walter S. Mllnor, master of said steam
ship, and all persons Intervening or claim
ing any Interest therein to be and appear
before the Honorable A. Perry, First Judge
of the Circuit Court aforesaid, sitting Tn
Admiralty, at Chambers at the Judiciary
Building (Alllolanl Hale) In Honolulu
aforesaid, on Saturday, the 17th day of
December, A. D. 1S9S, at 10 o'clock a. m.
