make an educational exhibit a
mnrked featuro of tho Summer
Sobooi of 1899. He thoreforo re
quests all teachers of publio and
private scuooia in me Hawaiian
Islands to contribute to such ex
hibit in accordance with tbo fol
1. Though every articlo will be
plftiuly marked with mime of the
school or individual exhibiting it,
and in case of work of pupils tho
name, age nnd grade of the pupil
producing it, no school or mdi

not especially for exhibition; and

Class 3. Secondary Education.
This class shall include all exhi
bits pertaining to work between
tbo ninth and twelfth grades, in
clusive, furtbor classified na fol
lows: a. Organization, history,
statistics, oto. b. Flans, modols,
home-made apparatus? etc. c.
Sohoolhoueo furniture, models and
appliances for teaching, d. Our

suits obtained as in class 2.
Auy and every thing that will
indicate tbe progress, present con
dition, methods, or results of edu
cation in tbe'1 Hawaiian Inlands
will find its place in this classifi
cation, and ia wanted. Any one
able to contribute to the exhibi
tion in any class or sub class is
invited to do eo.
Dr. Philip Rico, Hilo, Hawaii,
will take obarge of any of tboo
exhibits loaned to the llilo Cham
ber of Onmmerco for their fair to
be held the last week in Juno, and'
will forward them to Honolulu in
time for tho general oxbibition in
connection with tho Summer
School. Teachers on the Island
