Assault With Deadly Weapon.
In tho Pollco Court this forenoon
"Gcorgo" Snklmoto, steward of tho F.
S. Rcdfleld, was sentenced to six
months' imprisonment at hard labor
on the chnrgo of assault with a deadly
weapon on the mato of that vessel. Sa
klmoto used n knlfo on tho mate in a
fight Saturday and succeeded In mak
ing two cuts. Tho weapon, a regular
carving knife, is In tho possession of
the Deputy Marshal.
