Steamer Dora Bluhm
The Inter-Island Steam Navigation
Company has filed a claim In the Unit
ed States District Court for .the sum of
JjOOO against the steamer Dora Bluhm.
The libelant's petition sets out that
while the Dora Bluhm was at Walalua
discharging a cargo of lumber, the
Mlkahala passed and her captain saw
the schooner was In a dangerous' post
tlon. He ottered tq tow her Into a saf
position, stating that the charge would
be $150. The offer was declined. Short
ly after, the Dora Bluhm was driven
upon the reef, becoming In Imminent
danger of destruction. Tne captain of
the Dora Bluhm then sent nn urgent
request to the Mlkahnla to return and
pull his boat off the rocks. This was
done at great risk for whfch the Inter
Island Company claims $5000 damages.

the Dora Bluhm. her appnrel and cargo
under the libel.

sengers and a big mall for this port

San Francisco in G days and 23 hours
and the actual steaming time of the
Ventura from Sydney to tills port was
14 days, S hours and 7 minutes. The

parted a half hour earlier for San
