day was Investigating n charge,
brought that aliens wcro favored In
tho labor being dono at tho United
States Leprosy Investigating Btatlon
on Molokal. It Is also said that tho
foreign laborers have been paying a
twenty per cent rake-off to tho firms
that secured their employment. Con
structor Pease was called beforo the
body, and ho admlttedlliat aliens wcro
employed in the 'work. While ho
would not say much about tho matter,
he will prepare a statement which ho
will. present to tho Grand Jury. Jt is
probablo that tho Grand Jury will rec
ommend that all the work dono on tho
Station carried on by citlicn labor.
