Wednesday, and the criminal chlcndnr

Indicted for extortion plead guilty to

was suspended for thirteen months,

Ah Ling, a Chinaman, Indicted for

court, W. F. Crockett, attorney In both
cases, mado stipulations to havo them
heard during vacation at Walluku, Jury

SOCCER PLAYERS ARE
PRACTICING HARD.
There was a fine practice game of
soccer football yesterday afternoon

ers turned out, and some really good
form wns shown by the men. Play
started at fi:ir, nnd was continued
for nbout an hour Kddle Fernandez
was on the ground nnd drilled his
men In the best possible manner.
The team Is rapidly getting Into
form, nnd the practice games are
beginning to show fruit.
It Is anticipated that the team
will have no trouble in getting nway
In time to catch the Manna Ken for
Hllo on Saturday, and It Is hoped
that no unfortunate will be left be
