department for the coming fHcnl yenr
were opened by the depot commissary, ,
Captain I), II. Case. Ainsuit Under,
Ltd., bidding for the Oahu lee Co,
was the low bidder, the llgure being I
15 cents per hundred pounds for "Ice
plain," meaning unprotected by pack- !
Ing. The llgure for Ice packed In bur- I
lap nnd rice bulls was 20 cents per
hundred. i
There were two other bidders, the
Hawaiian Electric Co. and tlfe ll.irn- ,
hart Ice Co., but their figures were not
made public. The present year's con
tract Is held by the Ilawnllnu Electric
Co. at 1C 1-2 cents.

Hupreme Court of Han Francisco dis

cision of tho lower court, which de
clared the will was Invalid. On A.irll

decision, thereby allowing three of tho
children, Clans A., Rudolph and Emma,
to sharo the $5,000,000 residue of tho
