She seemed to realize as did Paul (Phil. l:Z3) tnai was far better te depart and be with Christ. She bore her sufferings with fortitude and patience, and when her neighbors would call to aee( her she would nsk them to pray that she might be able to bear ' her sufferings. Her husband called three doctors and they decided the only thing that could be done would be an operation, and advised that she be taken to a hospital. She was taken to Dr. Martlng's hospital at Ironton, Ohio, where an operation,. was performed May 16, which Bhowed that she was suffering- from an abscess on the liver. This was removed, but she lived only ten days after the opera tion. All that loving hands or money could do was done, but to no avail. Ood has called her to a better country where there will be no suffering "f pain, no death, no sorrow, nor crying. (Rev. 21:4). The subject of this sketch was mar ried to John O. To this union were born nine children, three of whom preceded their mother to the glory world, there to welcome her Into the realms of bliss, when on the 26th day of May her spirit took its flight from this old time world, and could we have beheld that glad meeting of Mary with her three little ones, surely we would strive to gain that peace of rest, where so many of our loved ones are waiting for us, but now we can only see through a glass darkly, but lot us so live that we may be able some day to see face to face (I.
