Mr. Trimble came to Washington 16 year ago from Ashland, Ky. . From in til 1921 he occupied the posl- ilon of National Bank Examiner for Washington and Baltimore, an assign ment carrying 6T banks. This work was Interrupted from October, 1916, until March, 1917, when Mr. Trimble was placed In charge of the Chief Na tional Bank Examiner's office In New York, which gave Mr. Trimble the distinction of examining aome of the largest banks In the United States during that period. Tom Chaf fln, deputy sheriff of Logan county, la In the Logan hospital, suffering from three knife wounds and Walter. Lew is, his alleged assailant, Is In jail. The stabbing took place last night at a carnival at Logan. Lewis was arrested on a disorderly charge. It was claimed, he stabbed the officer while Chaffln waa taking him to Jail. T. J.
