Funeral Services For Emma Allen Funeral sen*ices for Mrs. Emma Allen of 369 NW 11th st., who died Dec. 5 at her residence after a brief illness, were held at the St. John Baptist Church, Dec. 9. Ser-. vices were conducted by the pastor Rev. J. W. Drake. Surviving her are a son. Arthur Allen, daughter-in-law, Naomi Allen other relatives and a host of friends. The family take this method to express their thanks for the many beautiful flowers, telegrams, letters and cards. Mr. John Morse for the use of his car and even.- expression of sympathy shown them during the illness and death of t heir mother. Richardson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The Family Death Mr Jonas Pratt, 2001 NW 6th ave., died on Tuesday evening at about 1:30 p.m. and found that he his home. Going to bed at 9:30 he did not wake up. Patterson Visits Rev. Josepn Patterson, son of Dr and Mrs. W. A. Patterson, Sr., is in the city visiting with his family. Rev. Patterson is pastor of Wentz Memorial Congregational Church at Winston Salem, N. C. and also a member of the faculty of Allen Un; versity.
