dents In St. Louis last week hut the
(Human Relations commission of the
Metropolitan Church federation of
St. Louis announced Its continued
support of an "anti-segregation hill
pending In t he Missouri legislature.
The commission asked all mem
ber church groups of the federation
to carry the message of the bill and
"endorse Its passage. This bill would
end jlmcrow in all state colleges
and open the University of Missouri
1 to Negroes.
The Missouri house of represen
tatives already has passed t he bill
by a 100-8 vote. The senate has not
acted yet.
