Dodger Stars And
Norma Millar In
Benefit
A sensational show has been
booked for the Harlem Square Club
this coming Sunday at 2 o’clock in
the afternoon when Jackie Robin
son, star second baseman of the
Brooklyn Dodgers, will appear in
person together with his equally fa
mous team mates, Don Newcombe
who won the rookie of the year
award and hard hitting Roy Campa
nula, voted the league’s mast out
standing catcher, and Dan Bank
head, who is most likely to succeed
in becoming one of the outstanding
pitchers of the National League.
These stars, plus Norma Miller and
her entire revue will be featured at
the Harlem Square Club, who is
turning their proceeds over to the
Dunbar Nursery. Tickets are on sale
for SI.OO. All the above stars will be
the guests of Chick Young, who is
donating 20 free autographed balls
signed by the entire Dodger team to
the lucky ticket holders as door
prizes.

comedy star of "Liza”, ‘‘Hot Choco
lates," “Chocolate Kiddies,” etc., re
turned to Harlem last week for a
brief business visit, after four years
absence.
Miss Simms is director and busi
ness manager of Irving C. Miller’s
“Brownskin Models” now on tour
in the Deep South.
Margaret will be remembered,
when she sang “Ain’t Misbehavin’’
hit tune of the musical show "Hot
Chocolates” back in 1928.
