King Solomon’s Mines At Ritz Masai warriors, renowned as Africa’s lion killers, won’t soon forget MGM’s “King Solomon’s Mines” location troupe, with whom they worked when scenes of the spectacular Technicolor ad venture drama were filmed near Meru, Kenya. The warriors re tained highly-prized souvenirs in the form of expended flash bulbs.
