Funeral services, under the di the Francis Funeral home, will be held on Saturday, May 26 at 2:30 p.m. at Ebenezer M. Church, with the Rev. W. O. Bartley of ficiating. A native of Miami, Mrs. Monroe is also survived by two daugh ters, Carolyn and Florence, one brother, Loyd Walker, a grand father, Albert J. Berry, several other relatives and many friends. She lived most of her life in her native home, where she enjoyed a large friendship. Captain Roberts brought to Nassau from Exuma a shipment of 1,600 sacks of onion which, with other ship ments, will be sent to the Jamai ca market. The Royal Mary, a Haitian sloop, was wrecked with a cargo of bottles in the Exuma Cays two weeks ago. The captain and crew walked across the island to Wil liams Town and were taken to Nassau on board the m.v. Cap tain Roberts. The Sandilands Village May on the 14th instant, was suc cessful from every angle. Mrs. Doris Johnson, headmistress of Sandilands School, was in charge. There were Maypole dancing, and playlets under the direction of Mrs. Nat Bailey and Mrs. Milli cent Ferguson. Old fashioned dances were directed by 70-year old Obediah Brice who outdanced the youngsters. The effort rea lized SBB3.
