King’s attorneys for an Citizens Council Member Jailed CHARLOTTES VULIJS, VdA. — (ANP) —Hearings have been set for Saturday into the cases of four members of the Seaboard White Citizens Council who were jailed last week for passing out membership a;phc»rjions here without official permission. The four jailed were Floyd Fleming. 60, John C:spar, 26, Ed gar Johnston, and Alex Hanna. All are out-of-towners. Twice previously the men had come to Charlottesville and un successfully sought permission from the police chief to pass out appeal of his conviction to the State Court of Appeals. The Rev. King case became a test case for the indictment of more than 90 prominent Negro leaders accused of promoting the boycott.
