TWCA Plans Fellowship Week Activity World Fellowship Week, an In ternational -week of prayer for peace and world brotherhood, will be observed by the Murrell Branch Y.W.C-A., in cooperation with Y.W.C.A.’s around the world, Nov. 11—18. A national worship service, launching the week, will be com memorated by members of more than 1900 units of in the United States and those in 64 other countries around the world. A national worship service launching the week, will take place Sunday, Nov. 11, in the National Cathedral in Washing ton D.C. More than 3000 repre sentatives of local associations from all parts of the couhtry and friends of the organization will attend. Dr. Henry Van Dusen, the distinguished clergyman-educa tor, president of Union Theologi cal Seminary of N.Y.C., will de liver the address on the World Fellowship Theme, “Christians in Action.” Choirs of the Cathedral, Howard University and the YWCA will present a musical program. Special feature will be the “Gift- Briniing” ceremony in which Y-Teens from a processional march to the altar and present funds from the various states for blessing. The YWCA of the United States is part of a mutual service program in which YWCA’s around the world assist each other in strengthening their work. Y-Teens will take a prominent where special recognition will be part in this year’s National Service given them in honor of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Y-Teen work. Miami events include: Breakfast for YM and YW Board and Staff members, Monday November 12, at Central YMCA. YWCA Elector’s Assembly of Central and Murrell Branch mem bers, Tuesday evening, 8:00 o’clock in the Central auditorium when members will share the national movie “No Man Is an Island,” with musical renditions by Mrs. Juanita Williams Keys, accompained by her mother, Mrs. McFord. ANNUAL EVENING OF GAMES Friday evening, November 16, all members and friends are in vited to enjoy a variety of games in the “535*’ Club of the Sir John Hotel. An array of beautiful, useful 'prizes are available again this year, good refreshments and are in store. The Finance Committee under chairmanship of Mrs. Clotilde Dent and Special Projects Chairman, Mrs. Addie Sampson, is all out to make this budget raising effort a success.
