M. Murray, reporter Christ has really been in the Christmas season around Ebene zer church. The atmosphere was reverent and impressive. Sun day, tbs last of 1966 found us with a guest minister in the per son of Rev. Robert Habersham who was vacationing from the Boston, Mass, school of Theology. He delivered the message of the morning When we think of his youth in the ministry and his incomplete training, and yet his brillance, we are forced to wonder what his attainment will .be. He took the subject “Establishing a Christian Witness within”, from the text 2 Timiothy, 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God”, and developed a most beautiful discourse. A young mam» was happily converted and anoth er affiliated with the church as a result of the morning message. We wish for Rev. Habersham much success in his quest for higher learning. On Sunday morning Jan. 13, the Bethune Cookman chorus will render a program in conjunction with the morning service. The public is cordially invited It is a privilege to hear this group under such circumstances for they are worthy of the fees usually charg ed when they appear in concert. With the death of 1956, and the birth of 1957 Ebenezer hopes to move forward. The Pastor if asking the full cooperation of the membership in plans already set forth for the year.
