Aid Corpus Christi Parish Teams A chicken dinner will be served Saturday, Nov. 4, from noon until 5 p.m. at Corpus Christi school cafeteria, Columbus, for the benefit of the parish athletic fund. THE Canadian Catholic Women Urge Ban On Comics OTTAWA—(NC) The Catholic Women’s League of Canada last week called upon the Federal gov ernment to control the flood of ob jectionable “sex and love” comics on Canadian newsstands. The Canadian government more than a year ago banned crime com ics, and publishers turned to so called "love” comics in greater vol ume. A wave of protest now sweeping over the country stems chiefly from the league’s efforts, it was reported at its 31st annual conven tion here. The convention also condemned "immoral dance frocks, bathing and play*suits which arc often occasions of grave sin.” o------------------ Mount St. Joseph Alumnae Schedule Breakfast-Meeting Members of the Mid Ohio chap ter of Mt.
