Title Contenders Lancaster St. Mary and Colum bus St. Charles are expected to bat tle it out for the CCL crown this year with Springfield Catholic, Co lumbus Rosary and Marion St. Mary offering the strongest oppo sition. St. Mary’s, led by scoring twins Dave Reinpe and Harry Fitzpat rick. has looked good against both Class A and teams this season while compiling a 4-3 early-year record. While losing their last two games against unbeaten state champ Lock land Wayne and rugged Zanesville Rosecrans by 68-54 and 55-53 scores, the Irish w'ere greatly hurt with the loss on fouls of Center Fitzpatrick, who was named to the CCL-A11 Star squad last year. Lockland was winning only 52-49 when he departed. Hurt by Fouls The Shamrocks’ third loss was a one-pointer to Somerset in the opener. Wins have been over Rock Bridge. Corning, Pleasantville, Ath ens and Logan, the latter two both Class A squads. So far, Fitzpatrick has hit for 110 points and Reinpe 144, both in seven games.
