Don Boley and Jack Rubadue, up from the reserve team are fighting it out with letterman Bob Brower and Wilhelm positions. The halfbacks Carl Noll headin half with Phil Christ and Don Car roll spelling him. Frank Eshelman leads the left half candidates. He’s a junior and was named to the all-Catholic squad last year. Hughes and Jake Sphar are ning second. Paul run now Lau- Fullback is a toss-up right with Jim Kennedy and Joe fersweiler lighting it out for the starting job. Dwayne Race'll, a frosh, is also trying for the spot. Rosary will work out a split this year. Sharrock is in hopes of usiqg the two platoon, although a couple of the players will have to go all the way. Defense has not been stressed so far.
