The refugees in Honk Kong, the lepers in our 225 hospitals dedicated to their care, the natives of Uganda who are about to have a new Church, the distraught mothers of India who found nurses and food for their starved ones, cannot come to you personally, so in their name “God we breathe a prayerful Love You” of “Thanks.” thank those who did not We remember us, for even in the omission of sacrifice, there had to be a thought of the Holy Fa ther’s Missions. The Society for The Propagation of the Faith is the kind of beggar who, like a sandwich man, is grateful even for those who just look at the sign we carry: “We are begging in the name of Jesus and Mary for the largest poor family in the world—our 1,400,000,000 pagans.” Some day even they may turn around and come back to receive the blessings for giving a sacri fice to tne Holy Father’s Mis sions. Some Mission Sunday envelops came in signed simply “A prot estant friend,” and the little an gel of the Missions needed no microscope to see the sacrifice! It costs God the same love to build the world as to build an atom, the same love to give a moment’s breath as a na tion’s wealth, the same love to make those who remembered the Missions as those who did not, GUIDE JACK HEMMER ICE CREAM ARTWIL ZANESVILLE, OHIO 430 Main St. Bu«ine** Announcement* Z-30 Appliance* ELECTRIC APPLIANCES Drive to Duncan Fall* A Sav* W. Th* parade is th* big feature of the "All Hallows' Party" which has been sub stituted at the school since 1952 in place of the traditional Hal loween celebration. In order to assist the Sisters in bringing this type of party to the attention of others, WTVN television, Channel 6, will televise a portion of the program, Monday evening, Nov. 1, at 7:15 p. m. It has proven to be a most effective way to keep active youngsters out of mischief. In th* picture above, John Van de Wall* and Tom Laufersweiler, representing Blessed Martin de Por res and St. Thomas Aquinas, assume a serious mien as "Saints" as they prepare for the parade. and since God’s love is for every body—we love those who sacrific ed for His poor, and we thank God for those who just noticed the tin cup in our hands—to all therefore: God Love You.
