Columbus Rosary bounced back from the heartbreaking 7-6 loss to Southeastern two weeks ago to rout a previously unbeaten Waverly team, 43-13 and Columbus Aquinas and St. Charles, both of whom have lost more than their share of tight games this season, dropped their final contests when Bexley edged the Terriers, 13-12, and Delaware came back in the fourth period to score after St. Charles had led 20 18 to down the Cards, 25-20. That’s the way the 1954 football season ended. Rambler* Ramble In Dover, Coach Joe Drotovich was finally rewarded as his St. Joseph team finally caught fire and won their first game after eight straight losses. Unhappy victims of the Rambler fury w,ere the Blue Waves of Dennison St. Mary and Paul Drotovich, Joe’s brother, who coaches the Waves. St. Josephs first win was fore cast two weeks ago w he.* the Ramb lers forced Zanesville Rosecrans to the wall before bowing, 20-18 Rosecrans lost only one game all year. Drotovich felt that the Rose crans game was still his team's top performance. The Dennison grid ders would probably argue with him on that. Leeding th* Rambler attack were back* Tern Wise, Abie Zuch •gno and Tom Berarducci. Wise accounted for four touchdown* while Zuchegno end Berarducci were consistent ground gainers. Columbus Rosary took out all the frustration they felt against South eastern when they traveled to Wav erly last Friday and completely leveled the unbeaten Tigers, 34-13.
