St. Raphael's Home locat ed at 1550 Roxbury Rd opened its doors for the care of the Aged and Infirm in 1948 Within a short time all available rooms were taken and so many requests for admission were made it was found necessary to build an ad dition to the home at the Serv- In June 1950. the new wing was completed and at present 85 guests are receiving the kindiv care ot the Carmelite Sisters for the Care of the Aged and In firm, under whose suprvision the Home was placed on its open ing by Bishop Ready The Guilds were organized 1949 to aid the Sisters in main taining the excellent facilities of St Raphael’s, through member ship dues and various projects.
