executive committee headed by
Jim Pavlosky of the Cathedral
was named to discuss plans for
the annual Catholic Youth Fiesta
week which is scheduled for the
week following Easter Sunday.

Parish Young Adult Clubs dis
cussed the work being done by
the National Catholic Community
Service Committee at the Veter
ans Hospital in Chillicothe, at
their monthly meeting. Reports
were received from members of
youth clubs who have accompa
nied the committee at various
times. The resolution was suggest
ed that each parish club make ar
rangements to work with the com
mittee on the project during the
following months with the idea
of making it a permanent work of
the Council. Mary K. Ruddy of St.
Agatha was appointed chairman
of the council to coordinate the
schedule with the NCCS Commit
tee.

tholicism when they observed for
eign soldiers—from generals to
privates receiving the Sacra
ments at the hands of Korean

Bishop Ro, who is touring West
ern Europe, told this to newsmen
shortly after he arrived at Schip
hof airport here for a three day
visit to The Netherlands.
The prelate said 15,000 adults
were, baptized in South Korea
in 1955. He also spoke of the
40,000 Catholics isolated in
North Korea. He said nothing is
known about the fate of the
priests in this area. They have
disappeared, and as far as he
knows, the people are without
the Mass and the Sacraments. a

the airport that he wants to col
lect money for the recopstruction
of the seminary in his vicariate
which was completely destroyed
during the Korean War.

CAMDEN, N. J. NC) Russia has sent individual appeals to Iron Curtain es
capees living at Seabrook, N. J., to take leave of "the wicked godmother of a foreign coun
try” and return to “happiness” in their homelands.
