N -y' Italian-Americans Aid Sizes 7 to 16‘ In Fight Against Reds BROOKLYN, N Y (NC) Rep Victor Anfuso of New York has called on all Americans of Italian descent to help in the struggle to keep Italy free. The coming municipal elections in Italy next May and the parliamentary elections there next fall will he a "life and death struggle" for the Italian people, the Congressman told a gathering of the Italian, Professional and Businessmen's Association here He said that in these elections the people of Italy will have to decide “whether to stay with the free nation* or cast their lot with communism.” He ask-?d Italian-American or ganizations and societies in the United States: 1. (Mr. Anfuso said this will serve the two fold purpose of help ing to alleviate the hunger in certain parts of the country and of demonstrating in a practical way the continued friendshio of the people of the United States for the people of Italy. 3. Armed Fore es in Italy to renew the bonds of friendship with families and individuals they met there and to urge thpir Italian friends to help defeat communism at the coming elections. 4.
