After a quick look, Coach An tonetz said he will have a good fielding team, which may be a good thing, because the pitch ing staff isn't very strong. How ever, this will be offset by a fairly hard-hitting team, he stated. The Bishops last year had a good season with a record of won against only four losses. Four veterans are fighting for their positions in the in field. Pat McLoughlin, a senior, is a shortstop Dan Davis, a senior, is at first Mike Saad, a sophomore, is handling sec ond and Tom Cooper, a junior, at the hot corner. Catholic Youth Initiate Jet Badge Sale Apr. 1 Catholic youth groups in the Diocese of Columbus, are participating in the Junior Jet Badge Sale which opens Mon day, April 1 and closes April 17 when the Columbus Jets open their season against Buffalo here. The badges, which cost to sao most of tha Jets' home games. However, the school-age boy or girl must attend the game with an adult. The badges are good for all games except opening day, Sundays, holidays and special occasions. Participating in this annual sale with the Catholic Youth Council are the Boy Scouts, Co lumbus Boys Clubs and the Jew ish Center. I,ast year, 18,000 badge holders saw an av erage of 70 games for 50 cebti. Sales this year are expected to top 30,000. The Jet organization was formed in January, 1955, after the St. lx)uis Cardinals moved its American Association franchise from Columbus to Omaha, Neb.
