Chairman Errol Wells of St. Mary has issued invita- tions to the parishes of the area through his Pastor, Father Ken neth Wise. The conference will concern itself with the explanation and organization of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Youth, with the program for Catholic Youth Meek in the Fall and with the ac tivities of the parishes in the Southern Deanery. Priests of the parish as well as layleaders in the area have been asked to join in the confer ence. Urges Youth To Stay In Schools WASHINGTON (NC)—Presi dent Eisenhower has urged young people to continue as students in school until they hate devel oped their God given capacities to the full.” The Chief Executive s message was distributed in conjunction with the launching of a nation wide campaign to encourage com pletion of education, with par ticular emphasis on teen-agers w ho drop out of high schools.
