CHRONIC CATARRH.
Why entertain this loathsome disease
when relief ean be obtained? We meet
those everj day who are suffer iug from
(Catarrh to such an exteut, that the Air
Passages in the head are in a partly de
composed condition,—the nos·· and throat
filled with sueh a mam of oorrnpt matter
that they are object.* of disgust to them
selves, and of pity to those with whom
they associate.
Chronic Catarrh usually affecte the
head, fauces and bronchial tubes. It is
invariably caused by buuioral or inflam
matory blood, by whieh mucus membrane
is made sore or inflamed, producing a cop
ious effusion of viscid matter. If it be
produced by Scrofula in the blood it is
almost certain to end in Consumption, un
less speedily cured, because it is impos
sible to entirely prevent the matter from
runn.ug down tho Bronchial into the air
vesicle*, and such is the excoriating, or
scalding property of the matter, it# con
tact with the delicate linings of the air
cells at once causes irritation, and invites
the humoral properties of the blood to de
posit therein Tubercles and (Jlcers.
Catarrh almost always attends Con
sumption, aud frequently lea dû to it.
In Oxygenized Air we have a positive
cure for this disease. The remedy is tak
en by inhalation,—breathed directly into
the lungs, and through them carried into
the blood; thus as soon as the blood will
carry it, it reaches all parts of the system,
decomposing the impure matter in the
blood and expelling it through the pore·,
aud through the natural channels from the
system. Thus you will see that the cause
of the disease is removed, and the disease
itself must follow.
In this same manner we treat and rad
ically cure Bronchitis and Consumption.
