Rond Trucks In, Bud Sluipe As a result of an inspection of county road trucks recently made by him. County Engineer Burwell finds that three of them—one in the Sec ond district and two of the county fleet—have reached such a state of de terioration that they are more of a liability than an asset. Mr. Burwell recommends that a new pneumatic tire, two-ton capacity truck he bought for the Second district, and also a similar truck for the county fleet. He also suggests that the truck for the county fleet be paid for by the various districts in proportion to the road tax basis. The engineer also permission to dispose of three old trucks, either by sale, or trade-in on the purchase of new trucks. The rec ommendations in each instance wore adopted by the board. THE BETTER WAY jTO HEALTH SfHEALTH TALK No. 10 “Stop, look, and listen” —is/ not a bad motto at any time. It is equally good iu matters- of health. Some day you will stand at the cross roads—with the road to health stretching out lefoie you in one direction —and the road to uis ease in another. The toad down is always an easy one to travel, — j just neglect, carelessness, disob- tj edience to the laws of health. jj The road upward to health is :j always a little harder to travel— it means a little thought, a little attention, a little self denial. In either case, stop and think— j What is at the end of the road? i Are you at the cross roads now?! | Or have you alreadv slipped a lit- j tie on the downward road? j Stop now. and think where you ! are. Choose the right road now j while you may—and if you have j j ; already thoughtlessly started on j j | the downward path, turn back now j ; | before you get too U.r from the j goal o.' health. Let us help you check up on jj your physical condition. Let us H show you how we may help you , onward on the right road, the i road worth while, the better way to health.
