IN'S After bein* defeated by their rivals of Washington College Friday night, the basketball team of St. John's Col lege went to Chester, Fa., Saturday, and showing splendid form, defeated the Pennsylvania Military Cadets in dec! i!vq style, 42 to 22. The marvelous basket shooting of .lay Matthews, St. John’s little right forward, together with the almost perfect support given by the rest of Lis quintet, enabled the local cadets to cinch the game. Matthews* shot* were the wonder of the game, lie snapped them into the basket almost at wiil from all parts of the floor and registered a total of 10. Second honors for Ft. John's were carried off by Darley, with five baskets. Both teams played an evenly matched game In the first half. For Penn Military College especially good work was performed by Elliott, Gyp Allen and P.uotto. Hueston fell down badly In his foul shooting.
