That the markets in the Baltic are glutted. __ tyam and Portugal. Aio alteration ot consequence in the situation of affairs in these countries lias taken place of late. In some skirmish eJ on the frontiers of Portugal, the french were beaten by the English, and Portuguese. The main armies had not been enga ged in a genera! action, though it was expected one would soon take place.
