Regent of the Chevy Chase
Chapter, DAR, was installed
Maryland State Regent at the
70th annual Continental Con
gress of the National DAR So
ciety in Constitution Hall, on
Friday.

Club Honors Past Presidents
Six members of the Woman’s
Club of Chevy Chase received
double honors at a meeting on
April 19. Besides being past
presidents, the six women have
been members for 40 years or
longer.
The special double recogni

County Hadassah
Attends Conference
Members of the Greater
Montgomery County Chapter of
Hadassah are participating in
the Hadassah Seaboard Region
al Conference which will con
tinue through May 3 at the
Sheraton Park Hotel In Wash
ington, D. C.
The Montgomery County
women are among the 1,000
delegates from Virginia, North
Carolina, Delaware, Washing
ton, and Maryland, attending
the four-day conference.
Association, to Meet
Members of the Montgomery
County Press Association will
be guests of Montgomery Blair
High School and the school
P-TA at a 12:30 p.m. luncheon
meeting at the school May 5.
