PEACE WITHOUT THE PRIXCE OF PEACE
“And there were in the same country shepherds abiding
in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And,
10, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory
of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore
afraid. And the angel said unto them, fear not: for. behold,
I bring you good tiding of great joy. which shall be to all
people . . . and suddenly there was with the angel a multi
tude of the heavenly host praising God. and saying, ‘Glory
to God in the highest, and on earth Peace, good will toward
men.' ”
East, west, and neutralist countries all have the same
cry, “Peace, we want Peace.” Peace Corps, government
aides, threats, nuclear testings, armed forces build-up and
speed-up, top level strategy conferences and a host of other
measures are being taken with the hopes of promoting
Peace but all- seemingly to no avail. How long Ameri
cans, will it take us to awake out of our sleep?
Christ came not only as the promoter of Peace, He
is Peace. Therefore, let us seek first of all to establish
a personal Peace relationship with Christ. Only as we
experience this are we able to promote Peace, Christ’s
way— not with arms and warfare.
For help in acquiring this Peace write or call the
Pastor’s Study.
For spiritual counsel, write or call The Pastor’s Study.
