WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 26, 1962
at the office of Purchasing As
sistant, Room 605, County Of
fice Building, Rockville, Mary
land. Bids will be publicly
opened and read aloud at the
above stated time.
The work will consist of a
special purpose structure. It is
intended to award the work un
der a single contract for the
complete construction. All work
shall be completed within 180
calendar days from the date of
the Notice to Proceed, subject
thereafter to liquidated dam
ages of SSOO per calendar day.
The attention of prospective
bidders is directed to the “In
structions to Bidders’’ contain
ing among other paragraphs
the following: “Statement of
Bidder’s Qualifications,” “Work
to be Performed by the Con
tractor’s Own Forces,” and
"Plan of Operations.” The right
is reserved to accept or reject
any and all bids or to waive any
informalities in the bidding.
Bids must be accompanied by
a certified check or acceptable
bid bond executed by the bid
der and an acceptable surety in
an amount equal to 10% of the
bid. No bid may be withdrawn
for a period of sixty (60) days
subsequent to the opening of
bids without the consent of the
County.
Copies of the documents will
be on file in the office of the
Purchasing Assistant beginning
September 10, 1962. Copies of
the documents may be obtained
by depositing with the County
Purchasing Assistant for each
set obtained, a certified check
in the amount of one hundred
dollars ($100.00) made out to
Montgomery County. A maxi
mum of four (4) sets will be
issued only to General Con
tractor Bidders. No bidding
documents will be issued di
rectly to sub-bidders, except as
acting agent for a General Con
tractor who has not received
the maximum of 4 sets. Unless
a bidder submits a bona fide
bid, his deposit will not be re
funded.
The successful bidder will be
required to furnish and pay for
satisfactory performance and
payment bonds each in the
amount of 100% of the total
bid.
“All laborers and mechanics
employed by contractors or sub
contractors in performance of
the construction work shall be
paid wages at rates not less
than those determined by the
Secretary of Labor in accord
ance with tse Davis-Bacon Act,
as amended.”

The object of this Complaint
is to obtain a Decree quieting
title to certain real estate lo
cated in Montgomery County,
Maryland, hereinafter more
fully described. The Bill of Com
plaint states, among other
things, that the Complainant is
a Citizen of the United States
of America and a resident of
the State of Maryland; That the
Defendants are all adult citizens
of the United States of Amer
ica; That the whereabouts of
Frank Ganley are unknown to
the Complainant; That the De
fendant Frank Ganley left the
State of Maryland for the then
Territory of Alaska approxi
mately 62 years ago and has
not been heard from for approx
imately 58 years; That the fam
ily of Frank Ganley have pre
sumed him to be dead for many
years; That the Complainant is
the Record Title owner of that
certain parcel of land situate in
Montgomery County, Maryland,
and described as follows:
Lot Nos. 1 and 2 in a Sub
division called Wade’s Sub
division as per Plat recorded
among the Plat Records of
Montgomery County, Mary
land, in Plat Book No. 71 at
Plat No. 6733.
subject to some hostile out
standing interest or claim by
the said Frank Ganley and the
unknown heirs, devisees, per
sonal representatives or assigns
of the said Frank Ganley, if de
ceased.
It is thereupon, by the Cir
cuit Court for Montgomery
County, Maryland, this 28th day
