NEWS A Boy Scout Tenderfoot Inves titure Ceremony was conducted by Troop 52 of Key West at St. Paul’s Pariah Hail last Thursday night. Nine Scouts were advanced to the rank of Tenderfoot. This was one of the largest groups to be advanc ed at the same time in the Troop. The Scouts are: Crawford W. Baidu, Gary E. Hoots, William S. Hinton, Jr., Henry A. Piarrot, Mitchell Pierce. John S. Rath, Raphael Semmes, Gene B. Turner, and James W. White, Jr. The ceremonies were conducted by Scoutmaster Frederick B. Wal ker, Asaistant Scoutmaster Peter Treaton, Jr., and Ensign' Charles J. Anderson, USN, of Princeton, New Jersey. The following Scouts received the Junior Leaders Training Cer tificate from the South Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America: Stewart Brenner, Andrew Dos ter, Richard Roberta, Gene Turner, and Conrad Valdez. A Cub Scout Graduation certificate was present ed to Scout Mitchell Pierce, who was advanced to Tenderfoot from Pack 217. Scoutmaster Walker made the following announcements: On the 11th day of November the Troop will take part. In the Veterans’ Day Parade. All members of the Troop are in vited to attend the annual Monroe Diatrict, Boy Scouts of America, dinner on December 6. A Troop Board of Review will be held on Thursday December 9. Thia will be the last Board of Review before the Court of Honor on December 20 at the Grace Lu theran Church.
