PITTSBURG, May 15—The initial step* looking toward the freeing of Mm. Boyle, convicted of aiding in kidnaping of Billy Whltla, and to li tem ed to serve 25 years in prison for her crime, were taken in Pittsburg jesterduy afternoon. A prominent local attorney, believing that Mrs. ! Boyle did not secure Justice in the Mercer county court, has interested himself in her case. The first move in reopening the |case will be to secure a transcript of ■the testimony given at the trial in Mercer county last week. When tills is done It will depend largely upon the exceptions taken by Mrs. Boyles attorney during her trial whether the case will be appealed to the higher court. If the exceptions are not ade quate for this purpose, then the only course remaining will lie the federal court here, of which a writ of habeas corpus will lie demanded. Railroads Refute Charge.
