They are; The Michigan Wire f’lotli Cos., Detroit Copper A Bras:- Rolling Mills anil the German American Loan A Trust company. Directors of the Michigan Wire cloth have declared a dividend ol 4 per cent and an extra dividend ol f» pi r cent on the common stock, a regular dividend of .1 per cent on the preferred and 10 per cent to be applied to retirement ot outstanding preferred stock. Stockholders of the Detroit u<lp per A- Brass rolling mills have re ceived chi ' ks for a 2 per cent quar terly dividend, and are getting an other 10 per tent as an extra divi dend. making a djsbursement of div idends of 44 per cent for the frs* half of tlie year. The German American I.onn A: Trust Cos. have declared a dividend of 12 per cent. The Increased divi dend marked the bank’s tenth anni versary. It was organized in 19'>»> with a capita! of $50,000. A year later the stock was increased SIOO,- 000. During the first three years it returned dividends of ♦’> per cent. They were then made S. and are now 12 per cent. PURITAN COMPANY MAKES AMiTION A large fwo-sfory brick addition to the Puritan Machine Cos., of De troit, is now ready for occupancy. It is opposite the main plant of the Puritan Cos., on I.afaycte hlvd. It gives the company 15,000 additional square feet of floor space. TJie ma chine shop, which is In the main plant, will occupy the entire lower, floor, while the second floor will be J for storing of surplus stock. Mov-, ing operations will he completed within a few days. The Puritan company is the only concern in the world supplying alt parts for all car*. Over one hun dred complete auto companies have been purchased by this concern up to the present time. Dividend of 52 Per Cent Made. Application lias been made to list the shares of the General Aluminum A Brass Manufacturing Cos., on the Detroit Stock exchange. The com pany's growth has been steady since i it became incorporated in 1!>12 with • a capital stock of SIOO,OOO. It now has $200,000 preferred and s.'>np,ot»o common stock. Its surplus was $200,472.66 at the close of its busi ness. May 31.
