ago, will make their appearance in
the house of representatives aex:
Tuesday, when they will be report
ed out favorably by the house liquor
committee
Two bills will be reported out.
One is what Is left of the Wiley
bill —the so-called “moist" measure
prepared by Anti Saloon league at
torneys—and the other is a booe
dry bill. From the original Wiley
bill have been stricken the two
most Important points It contained,
one permitting a limited shipment
of liquor Into the atate for individ
uals. characterised as the “one
dnrak a month" plan; and the other
creating a state department of pro
hibition with a whole lot of )obe
In It.
The sole point remaining to be
settled in committee on the pro
hibition bills la in regard to the en
forcetnent of the dry Iswt after May
1 of next year Some of the com
mil teamen want to leave the whole
matter of enforcement to the attor
ney general and the -ounty prose
cutor*. Other* want to put the law
enforcement up to the state dairy
and food department.
But the committees of the sen
ate and house, which have acted
